The 4th Annual Cooper Yeshiva High School National Invitational, hosted by the Margolin Hebrew Academy/Feintsone Yeshiva of the South, is slated to tip-off Thursday, October 28, 2010, in Memphis, TN. Featuring 16 of the top Yeshiva High School teams from across North America, the event, culminating in “Championship Sunday” on October 31, 2010, will crown a National Champion and a Tier II Champion from one of the most competitive invitational fields in the country.

Metropolitan Yeshiva High School League powerhouses MTA, Flatbush, Northshore, Derech HaTorah and MAYHS, will join perennial National Top 25’ers YULA, Hillel Miami, Skokie, Yeshiva Atlanta, Yeshivat Rambam (Baltimore, MD) American Hebrew Academy (Greensboro, NC), and the Cooper Yeshiva in a two–tiered tournament. With veteran Cooper Invitational participants Block Yeshiva (St. Louis, MO), Beren Hebrew Academy (Houston, TX) and the addition of new highly skilled squads in Yeshivat Bnei Akiva Or Chaim Knights (Toronto, ON) and Westchester Hebrew High School (Mamaroneck, NY), spectators and fans in the mid-south, and across the globe, are in for a Jewish athletic event like none other.

Players, Coaches, and Chaperones stay as guests in the beautiful DoubleTree Memphis Hotel and enjoy fully catered meals during their stay. This year’s event will feature visits from a number of nationally recognized sports personalities who will speak with the players and participate in the event. Shabbat provides the opportunity to take a break from competition, join the Memphis Jewish community, and share in a wonderful Shabbaton, filled with engaging programming, interesting learning activities, camaraderie, and plenty of time for players to meet and develop friendships with one another.

All Cooper Invitational games, the Mike Miller National 3 Pt Shootout, player and coach interviews, and the Yeshiva University Pre and Post Game Shows, are broadcast live, in audio and video, by experienced sports broadcasters and color commentators via the Invitational’s newly revamped Web-HQ at www.cooperinvitational.com.
