The Saturday night games launched with the Houston Heat playing the MAYHS Jaguars. Zach Yoshor yet again demonstrated his athleticism by taking over in the beginning of the game, scoring all 3 points in the first quarter and grabbing literally every rebound off the glass. But Yoshor and the solid Heat chemistry were simply not enough for the New Jersey Jaguars.

The Jaguars pounced on the “cold” Heat, winning 24-10 by the second half. Jeremy Felder, the point guard and a major contributor for the MAYHS team, suffered an ankle injury and couldn’t play the third quarter. Even with Felder out, the Heat couldn’t pick up their game and had a nine point deficit by the end of the 3rd. In the last quarter, the Heat failed to keep up with the Jaguars, losing the game 42 to 31.
