11-3-2016 | RASG Warriors Slay DTHS Jags

The RASG Warriors started off the game in early foul trouble, and gave up 14 free throws to De Toledo’s Emanuel in the first quarter alone. Emanuel was not able to capitalize though, as he struggled shooting he only shot 50% from the free throw line. A late 7-0 run by the Warriors to end the first quarter game them a 22-18 lead.

In the second quarter the Warriors got going offensively and started connecting on long balls thanks to Esformes and Schiff. At the end of the second, the Warriors had secured a 34-30 lead. Esformes ended the half with 9 points and Emanuel ended with 18.

In the third quarter, Schiff was a bright spot for the Warriors, as he ended the quarter with 16 points and led the shooting spark for the Warriors. Emanuel got into foul trouble late, and with him on the bench, the Jags fell into an even deeper hole and found themselves down 53-43 at the end of the quarter.

The Jag’s were able to get the score to within 4 points early in the 4th quarter, but were playing catch-up the entire time, and once De Toledo’s Emanuel fouled out, the game was pretty much over. Ben Tal got hot late in the 4th to seal the win for the Warriors, who won this one 73-63.

Notable statlines for the night includes RASG’s Schiff who finished with 16 points and 8 rebounds, as well.
